74HC595D 112 is an 8-level serial shift register with a storage register and 3 status outputs. The register has a separate clock. Data is shifted in the forward transition of the clock input of the shift register. If the two clocks are connected together, the shift register will always be one clock pulse earlier than the storage register. The shift register has a serial input and a serial standard output for cascading. It also provides asynchronous resets for all 8 shift register stages. The storage register has 8 parallel tri-state bus driver outputs. As long as the output enable input is low, the data in the storage register will appear on the output.
