The TL432AIDBZR device is a three-terminal adjustable shunt regulator with specified thermal stability. Using two external resistors, the output voltage can be set between Vref (approximately 2.5 V) and 36 V. The typical output impedance of these devices is 0.2 Ω. Active output circuitry provides very sharp turn-on characteristics, making these devices ideal replacements for Zener diodes in many applications, such as onboard regulation, adjustable power supplies, and switching power supplies.
