The RHRP1560 can be used for power supply maintenance and is an ultrafast diode with soft recovery characteristics. It has the half recovery time of an ultrafast diode and is a silicon nitride passivated ion implanted epitaxial planar structure. The device is intended for use as a freewheeling/extinguishing diode and diode in a variety of switching power supplies and other power switching applications. Low stored charge and ultrafast soft recovery minimize ringing and electrical noise in many power switching circuits, thereby reducing power losses in switching transistors.
